Luxe Collection: The Pearl Fontana with Silver Links

The Diane Taylor Designs collection is a curated collection of traditional eyewear leashes, designed and handmade in Los Angeles. This line honors the legacy of Diane Taylor, who passed after a lengthy battle with breast cancer. Acetate is a plant-based composition that’s much lighter, glossier, and durable than traditional plastics, and it’s a well-loved material for high end eyewear frames. This chunky geometric tortoise link is a riff on our tortoise classic, inspired by the Lucio Fontana’s Earth & Gold exhibit at the Borghese Gallery in Rome—a showcase of modern abstract sculptures next to classics from the likes of Bernini and Caravaggio, the magical juxtaposition of old and new, and now in a multi-faceted pearly white by popular demand.
